Filtering

The View / Filter menu command lets you find a file or a group of files matching some criteria.

When Filter Anew button is pressed, Kryptel Browser searches the current folder or the whole container for files that match the specified criteria. The matching files are shown in the Filtering Result window. You can switch back to the normal view and again to the filtering result using menu commands View / Normal View and View / Filtering Result.

Re-filter button performs search within the filtering result. You can create rather complex filtering requests (see program Help for a detailed description), but in most cases it is easier to do several searches, narrowing the result with every search.

For example, in order to find domestic cats in above example search for ‘cats’ keyword, and then re-filter the result using ‘domestic’ keyword.
